Jon Poulin P.Eng PMP

Director of Development and Engineering

16 years experience across generation, transmission and mining sectors including renewables and battery energy storage.  Jon is known for his adept leadership, the ability to guide teams effectively, and fostering collaboration and innovation, Jon leads the team in Canada in collaboration with Claude Mindorff driving the development of the current 1.5GW Alberta portfolio.  As technology expert, he will also be designing new approaches to the renewable sector by leveraging new technology to meet the current and upcoming needs of the energy market.

30 years of industrial manufacturing and construction management including senior positions in 5 renewable energy companies focused on Solar and Wind Energy across North America in excess of 1,197 MW.

Pioneered the commercial deployment of cold weather remote sodar, hub height weather stations, mesomapping and the use of GIS in wind and solar farm design and development. 

Omar Kawar

Project Development Manager

Has led sustainability initiatives such as the Energy Cube Project, where he collaborated with industry professionals to promote clean energy technologies across eastern Ontario.

With a background in Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering and is working towards obtaining his Professional Engineer license, Omar manages the grid operator connection process along with project budgeting and schedules. 

Jeremy Dresner

Senior Development Manager

A decade of proven expertise in grid-scale solar development and agrivoltaics, with successful projects in Canada and the UK. As a board member for Agrivoltaics Canada representing British Columbia, he has championed innovative solutions at the food and renewable energy intersection. Jeremy led Mitacs-funded agrivoltaic prototype projects in the Okanagan, collaborating closely with Indigenous partners and is currently driving new projects in British Columbia.

Jeremy is an avid distance runner and lives in the Okanagan.
